the thing about being 6'3" is it completely kicks ass all the time, except on airplanes. like icarus, the sky is where we are humbled
A conversation had in line waiting to board a plane literally two hours ago: Woman in front of me: How tall are you? Me: 6’5” Woman: Oh wow that’s cool. Must be great. Me: Mostly, except for airplanes Trust me, you’re going to enjoy the next few hours a lot more than me.
Fellow 6'3" club member and my 36" inseam can feel this post.
It’s my almost-5’0” time to shine! *tries to figure out how to toss her carry-on up into the overhead bin*
and also in the basement
As someone who is 6'4" it also comes up when something is under a table and is invisible to me
6’4” here and god yes if the flight is over an hour I Will pay ANYTHING to have ”extra legroom” (normal legroom)
Very few downsides of being 5'6", I fit in airplanes and can reach all the shelves in the grocery store (so long as I'm not above climbing a little AND I'M NOT)
I’m not very big, but I have long legs - I’ve gotten bruised knees from some airlines. I can’t imagine how miserable those seats are for someone very tall.
