Edit: actually check out that golden wing bar on that Blue-winged Warbler, it’s definitely got some recent Golden-winged Warbler (hybrid) ancestry!
Ugh I’m getting anxious just to think about the sisyphean task of removing 37 birds from a single net! All the other little guys getting more and more entangled as you work on each one

This is my first season really appreciating warblers. The local Land Trust has a bird blind that has allowed so many people to enjoy these little wonders!
