Eastern Screech Owls have two morphs and I got to see both types while we were banding them this weekend: cute stuffed toy and GREMLIN

Joking obviously, screech owls have two main morphs (gray and red) and a less common brown ("chocolate") morph, and these are both gray morph birds Birds caught, banded, and released on-site by professionals www.hawkmountain.org/raptors/east....
