My progress imaging Saturn: Left to right: 1) 2015 - 6" Maksutov, phone digiscope 2) 2016 - Mak & DSLR 3) 2020 - Mak & DSLR 4) 2021 - Mak & ZWO ASI178MM 5) 2022 - 8" Newtonian &178MM 6) 2023 - 8" Newtonian &178MM I was lucky to get some okay seeing last night - better than anything I had in 2022

Six telescopic images of Saturn presented in a horizontal row. The clarity improves with each image. The leftmost are blurry, lacking in detail, and strangely coloured (orangey or dull yellow), as they get better, the colour gets more accurate with white rings, and light browns and yellows. The rings start very open, and get gradually more closed.
