That sounds good. I've heard some editors in online forums who were a little unhappy with how MPEG negotiated their last contract. Kinda felt like they folded like a shirt.
The WGA is a small union — just 11,500 members — with a big vulnerability. Because scripts are written well in advance, our strikes don’t shut things down Day 1. Takes about 6 weeks for things to grind to a halt. But we make up for those disadvantages with member organizing.
That's a major good sign. There was a lot of grumbling last contract round when the feeling was enough wasn't done. I'm glad we're building on lessons learned this year.
