Charmander remains my fave even nearly 25 years later. I'd tried to start Red with Bulbasaur and Squirtle, but didn't click with either. Then I started using Charmander and just fell in love with the lil' scamp as we set Kanto ablaze.

Woohoo, Charmander is awesome! While it wasn’t my first starter, as time went on it became my favorite of the Kanto trio for sure. Glad you still have a favorite in the little fire lizard even to this day!
