the way that weight classes work in VF is really good, imo. it's basically just a very naturalistic way of giving characters different life totals, since heavier = lower float = less damage. also opens up space for characters like Taka who get to create new extremes for the system

Honestly Taka makes the system really work as he's so extreme with how hits change and the fact there are still specific combos that only work on him.
