There is some hefty privilege and entitlement going on here. It was a strange sight to see a grown man reason "Well what if they will be angry with me?" With a snoty nose and audible "that's uuuuunfair".

My still sick step-dad, however, pondered to go to work today, knowing it Covid and the reasons he found to not do it? If coworkers with some leverage over him get sick, they will pin it to him, and he will fade some social consequences because they are idiots. He did not care about my mom or me.

My partner is on immun suppression, so I'm suck in quarantine for 2 weeks now and miss their vacation time fully. I'm also done with Covid already, only being truly sick for.. 2 days?

My step-dad is now sneezing and coughing for 7 days. He also refused taking a test so we only find out when mom tested. We wanted to visit grandma this weekend. She's 96, it would very likely kill her. Mom is unvaxed for medical reasons and is sick for 6 days now.

It's less funny if you know my antivax step-dad reeled it in. But I need some dark humor rn. My partner and I had to cancel our vacation planned for 6 months. I haven't seen them in 5 months now.

Like all the time, really, animals are rarely a problem. My city allowed urban chicken keeping, even inside (if animal protection laws are abided) and there are some clubs of urban chicken keepers sooo... now I will check on them and convince my partner! xD
