Will it try to match its mission of writing "educational" racist screeds with lots of (random) capitalization? We'll have to watch and see! 2/2
Interesting. VDARE Foundation was one of the big-5(-ish) tax-exempt organizations whose tax exemption was basically founded on the racisms. As of 2022, it had net assets of ~$2 million. If it's shutting down, it's going to have to distribute those assets to other tax-exempt orgs. 1/
I'm old enough that I've embarrassed my kids by using "on fleek." They're old enough that they'd not only be mortified by hearing me use skibidi, they'd be mortified to use it themselves.

Crypto Bros reddit seems to believe that SCOTUS ending Chevron somehow makes block reward non-taxable. These people are delusional.

But then how would we make operating prisons profitable?!? oh
Incarcerated workers in California make as little as $0.08 an hour. Even recent reforms only raised that to $0.16 an hour. A new ballot measure aims to end forced prison labor in the state altogether. boltsmag.org/califor...
Prop 6 would amend the state constitution to ban āinvoluntary servitudeā and prohibit state prisons from punishing incarcerated people for refusing a work assignment.
"Diverting just 10 percent of Nebraskan irrigation water would be enough for every single American to use GPT-4 about 24 times per day." ok this fact does absolutely nothing to convince me that AI water demand is not a problem
"Almost half of all the irrigation water in the Colorado River Basin goes to cattle feed alone. A modest diversion from this industry would free up more than enough water for Southwest cities and data centers alike for the rest of the century at least." prospect.org/environment/...
Data centers are nothing compared to cattle farming.
