its a kind of dismal unimaginative way of thinking about literature, but i do think people crave books that reflect where they are in their life cycle and seemingly a lot of books are written about young people
i think so too, but it feels like such a shallow way to pick a book. especially when it goes beyond a pulpy, guilty pleasure (which i certainly have) and becomes the only thing you read, which marketing seems to encourage
