This is the first I’ve heard about this clear coat instantly rusting the steel thing but that can’t bode well for starship

I told my dad about how they made em with stainless steel and he added that tidbit, I forget the specifics IIRC, its the kind of stainless steel they used and/or the production schedule wouldve interfered with a time sensitive part of the clear coat application process
