The story is already there. Private Party been there for years scraping against injuries and clawing for TV time, and it was their time. Even if Full Gear ends up being the young talents' night it still feels deflating seeing them lose after that 2 count pop and how over they already were.
Seeing people talk about the Private Party loss like Cody at WM39. The entire extra year of the "I have to finish the story" meme has straight up damaged wrestling discourse in ways that just make me sad. If they don't beat you over the head with meme lines it isn't enough for people anymore. 🤼
There was zero energy for that finish for a match that was otherwise perfect til that point and then the post match angle while meant to be somber and sad just came off as the babyfaces looking pitiful. There's five people you're up against and you take your time. Nah last ten minutes was ass. 🤼

Besides the Private Party shitty ending and Jericho coffee break I was mostly on board and hype the whole ppv, but there was so little energy to the Danielson Mox finish I'm actually depressed. This shit was a Rampage-tier finish to the full-time career of the greatest of all time. 🤼
