I put so much work into it!! So i wanna talk about it!!

I love both ways i developed the inner workings of both worlds. I like to talk about the differences and similarities of both

Magic is fundamentally different for both cause in cloudbound, alchemy is a form of science while in fantastray, alchemy is another type of magic

This has more like ancient magus bride vibes where with the rise of “science” less ppl are inclined to side with magic/spirits/the unknown so it is fading out of style And the idea for fantastray is more like frieren where the imagination is the limit to one’s power (aside from years of training).

It serves as a way to make a contract or connect with the nature around them to draw out their powers. And mainly why not everyone can do it or can be bad at it lmao

But back in the old days, ppl were actually born with powers and the ability to use magic. Not anymore though!! And mostly only limited to the tribes nowadays. It’s why ppl need to spellcast and set up spells nowadays

They used to be made fun of though like in ye olde days but as time progressed more and more ppl became unable to use magic like their ancestors and even more so with the rise of technology. They don’t need magic to cast magic now

Like it’s nothing against the person?? Just sometimes shit happens or ppl don’t have that natural ability to tap into nature’s energy. Non magic users aren’t disrespected or made fun of here and they made plenty of technological advancements in ways magic users cant

Their powers are blessings from gods and other spirits and to use their powers you need to respect and honor that. With that said, there are people who can’t use magic/elemental powers and it is bc of the whimsy of the gods
