the spell names not being the ra -ga -ja in ffxiv kinda bugs me a bit

Yeah it's kind of weird not seeing that whenever i randomly switch to one of those classes

Fun fact: There's actual lore saying that spells *used* to be named that around the Allagan era, iirc. However, naming got pretty funky for some spells, so they settled on a numerical system to quantify strength/type or spell. Also, in JP, they use the standard suffixing theme.
