I think I can explain part of my job now is to make your videos as outdated as I can some day (show up twice in this time thanks to PEP 735) 😉 Oh, and Dependabot is going to provide feedback on the lock file proposal to make sure it works (and thus hopefully buy-in from them).

Ditto, and while I was on the SC I pressed people wanting free-threading to state publicly they would write less C code and more Python if they got threads. So here's to hoping 3.13 is the start of a trend back to more Python code and less escaping out for performance.

I forgot that mention **how** lock files could help. One is making sure you're installing what you expect instead of just blindly grabbing the newest release. The other way is through the provenance of a file, e.g., seeing the trusted publisher changed on #PyPIdocs.pypi.org/trusted-publ...)
