Idk my doctor has prescribed some kind of medication and recommended I see a nutritionist but didn't say anything about insulin. And strangely, it isn't metformin. it was Jardiance which I haven't heard of before.

Thanks I hope so but I’m so scared. I know my grandmother didn’t take care of herself well and ate much worse things than I typically eat especially now that I’ve been on a strict diet for months. I’m sorry about your relative. It’s really hard to see them go.

My disability (back pain for which I’ve had 2 major surgeries) has caused my exercise to decline and essentially vanish. I admit I fucked my diet up from 2020-2023. Most of that time it wasn’t even that bad but depression (bipolar disorder) and disability really fucked with me.

I am distraught. I was diagnosed yesterday as diabetic (type 2). This is the disease that killed my grandmother and so many people I’ve known over the years and has been my number one fear for so, so long. I had a great diet and exercise for so long, but in the last 10 yrs and esp. the last 3
