Strong Boy Mayor ran to the friendly confines of the conservatives at KSTP to whine about the council having the temerity to make the smallest gesture towards helping unhoused people and to lecture us all about how we need to be serious like him.

Also it’s so disingenuous financially. Would having so many fewer beds really not wind up costing the city more than what the council allocated? I sincerely doubt it. And if they didn’t do it now, the opportunity would be gone. It’s not some long term future thing. The mayor is so performative.
