Can 100% understand the difficulty of wanting to cosplay characters due to that, best thing I can say is to just do it! Sometimes letting yourself play another character, especially one you enjoy, can help see oneself in a positive light

Lol my positive light is bc I don't cosplay, I have money for bills. 1400$ for a costume or about a year's worth of car payment is a very easy decision for me to make.
