Absolutely, the marketplace is a massive mistake. The fact it takes so long for them to address and fix glitches big or small is frustrating, and even when they do fix a bug they add 5 more alongside the patch.

why is it impossible to do a personal multiplayer thing on java? all i can find is aternos and that only allows specific mods

I play bedrock way more than I play Java mostly just because of multiplayer, but yeah bedrock sucks.
