Most accommodations, from what I have seen with my own experience requesting them, boil down to asking permission to do them myself.
I only ever want to do online courses, and it's what I am aiming for w/school now. The online message board thing would be very tiring, glad my current classes dont have that requirement. Dropped a class this summer that required cameras on during all lectures/classes.
Yeah some youtube channels that look into this sort of thing go into it, I dont want to say 'neat'...
