a fast learner, he gets used to the beach as well as oikawa did, if not even quicker. his spikes get more precise, he controls his serves better. finally, he scores several points in a row, even if shoyo still won the first set. “i’ll win this one.” tobio says, a familiar grin playing on his lips.
shoyo laughs heartily and brags about finally being better at something than tobio, though he can see him regain control by the minute. he tells tobio his favourite saying, “the sand is kind.” by the end of the first hour, tobio has adapted.
