Drin's body is particularly resistant to heat, its not uncommon to see him manipulate his own flesh into the shape of a cauldron and side table over a raging fire and stay there stirring and adding ingredients for hours as he cooks up cornucopia of various magical combinations including but not limited too. Reformation potion, Knockout powder, grenade vials, fattening components, shrinking gas.
Two things 1. As a former adventurer Drin made quite the name for himself and still will get a call from those who can afford his services every now and then. Like here where a Mr David Zana-something or other has requested a acidbath treatment for some very special gargoyle statues. 2. snippets of drins true form are exposed when he stretches and manipulates his body past a certain point
Drin won't hesitate to go after much larger prey even if hes run out of potions and especially not if the prey's body is made up of valuable potion components
