Also, I highly recommend the D&D podcast, Worlds Beyond Number, but particularly the children's story sessions. It has a similar feeling, imo.

Ocean at the End of the Lane, Graveyard, and Stardust all have some Hempstock in them, but Ocean is by and large my favorite! It's the book everyone should recommend when they want to try Gainan's books.

If the Simpsons is your teacher, then all that will be done is what has been done before.

Because it references, it doesn't create. It only reflects back to us what we've already and always seen. What happens when the Ouroboros finishes eating itself? When all we receive are references to the self, there will no longer be a self to reference.
