I just bought a ā€œSharing Sizeā€ bag of peanut butter m&ms, but knowing darn well Iā€™m going to eat them all by myself in one sitting

If you have a hard time doing this, try recording yourself speaking what you want to write. Youā€™ll find that it sounds much more natural when youā€™re forced to speak it.

When blogging, writing website copy, or sending emails, just write like you speak naturally. People donā€™t typically use words like ā€œthereforeā€, ā€œviaā€, ā€œessenceā€, etc. You may be tempted to use them because you want to sound ā€œprofessionalā€, but they stand out like and feel inauthentic to the reader.

I totally agree. Iā€™m not sure thatā€™s how the original question was phrased though šŸ™‚ It gave a lot more credit to the tool as the thing that makes you money. Sounds like you have the right idea though. As-worded it just set off my šŸ¤”-meter

I run it through a translator tool and then fix the results. The tool usually gets me 80% of the way there, and then it becomes a lot easier/faster to fix where it messed up. It feels a lot like how we use AI (in general). It gets us close but we still have to sanity check.

The content being meaningful and/or a product that resonates is what sells. All your theme (or any theme) can do is put that content/product in front of the right eyeballs. If you pitch it as ā€œthis theme (alone) will make you $100kā€, that will set off BS meters really fast.

Iā€™m sure youā€™ve put a ton of work into fine-tuning the theme. My advice is to just be careful about pitching it as the thing that makes the money. Itā€™s not.

But a theme is just a tool. In this case it sounds like itā€™s good at SEO. Even the most amazing theme in the world wonā€™t help if you have crap content or a stupid product that nobody wants.

I donā€™t know if your theory is correct, but Iā€™m certainly a data point in the right direction!
