Loyola University Chicago is reporting on #Illinois’s elimination of cash bail a year ago. Among findings, the percent of defendants detained at initial court hearings plummeted, jail populations shrunk, failure-to-appear rates dropped and crime rates kept falling. pfa-1yr.loyolaccj.org
