Today marks the first time in about 5 days where I’ve had coffee that doesn’t have Baileys in it. This means Christmas is officially over 😭

Someone needs to take my devices away from me for the first 2 weeks after I return from a Disney trip because I’ve just booked another one for April 2024 - I couldn’t take the withdrawal!

Was at my work Christmas do last night and was pressured into staying longer than I wanted to and having a drink I didn’t want. If someone wants to leave, let them leave. If someone politely refuses a drink, don’t push it. It made me so uncomfortable.

I hope he has a smooth and swift recovery!

I am deep in the post-holiday blues and Ireland is distinctly non magical compared to where I’ve spent the last 3 weeks. But it’s Christmas countdown time and it’s hump day so I am looking forward to the weekend ♥️ How are you and how is your PhD going?

Update from the last few weeks: 1. Went to America for the very first time and did Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld. Not fussed on the latter 2 but had an incredible time at WDW. 2. Saw the Fracture Clinic again and got told my shoulder is healing very well, stopped using my sling (yay!)
