Sometimes I feel like a phony because I teach students about current events I learn about on social media. But these young people are only on tik tok so my bluesky news is always new and interesting information that perpetuates the belief that professors are all knowing.
This is also what I am hearing from friends in Lebanon. Families trying to protect and distract their children and elderly amid deep fear for what's coming.
