I made my best effort to be accepted as a Japanese person. At first I did not get a 100% positive positive impression of me, and the mood was sometimes nasty, but after the show many people recognized me and were quite kind to me.

Yes, this country is truly meritocratic, and the more famous you are, the more likely you are to lose your chance. I truly feel that in order to explain this difficulty to the same Japanese people, they need to have the spirit to make an effort to please the crowd.
