LRT: I KNOW it can be tough to find childcare but please parents if your kids are sick DO NOT MAKE THEM COME TO SCHOOL. The number of kids I've had in my classroom this year who were VISIBLY ill, coughing, hacking, beggars belief. It's not good for them or their peers OR US THEIR TEACHERS

"my parents say I can't stay home unless I'm vomiting." "I have a fever but I didn't test positive for COVID, so..." "No, it's fine, I can't fall behind..." yeah none of those take priority over other peoples health. figure it out.
