Many of my fave anime shows I watched growing up are now mainly known as repeating GIFs over City Pop playlists. The images vibe with those videos perfectly, and I hope it gets more people to check out classics like Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, or City Hunter in context

The thing I like about Tokyo Godfathers is you never explicitly see any of the characters get their happily ever after, but you do get to see the universe conspire to give every single one of them the circumstances to turn their lives around if they choose to.
