While on Oregon coast recently, I picked up a field guide: Rocks, Minerals & Geology of the Pacific Northwest (Moclock & Selander).It identifies regions they call physiographic provinces to find each mineral type. Calcites appear in several. Do you know an accessible place in PNW to find them?
