If your strategy is to maintain your unsustainable rate of consumption and simply build higher walls between those resources and others so there's more left for you - you WILL eventually come to a point where there's not enough for the "we" to go around, and the "we" will get smaller.

We're already seeing the Republican line go from "us and illegal immigrants" and even "us and immigrants" to "us and naturalized citizens." There's nothing stopping that line from retreating further - if your parents were naturalized, are you *really* one of "us"?
