Working on this history walk was... more work than I expected, for a variety of reasons. But I am very proud of it existing. You can hear it from home if you're not in Melbourne, but it is best in situ.
I don't have a story like yours - my dad didn't read fiction and didn't have a secret history. He was a Vietnam vet, though, so whenever I learn something new about that war, it's another glimpse into his experiences.
I. Uh. Had to deal with a bunch of family stuff (NOT FUN). So anyway I've just discovered that my book is out today and, errrr, please buy it? It's Gothic vibes, on a spaceship.
Profound and moving - thank you for writing it.
We're so proud of our next four books, and two are available to order *now*! (Your pre-orders help us so much to get these titles seen and these writers and communities supported.) -E. www.backerkit.com/c/projects/a...
The option to subscribe to Speculative Insight for AUD $150 and have a lifetime subscription (rather than $30/year) will only be available for 2024. Who wants to keep remembering to resubscribe, after all?? AND you get your name in lights! (well, on this page: www.speculativeinsight.com/about )
A journal for exploring the ideas and themes that stand behind, inform, and develop out of, speculative fiction.

First draft of the OzHE (HASS edn) starter pack! Please let me know who I've left off. "Academics" is interpreted broadly: PhD students and independent scholars and third-spacers welcome. Sadly many of the awesome colleagues here barely post, let's use this to tempt them (back) to Bluesky!
I haven't watched "Silence in the Library" for a very (very) long time. The Doctor mentions spoilers. And River enters in a spacesuit. /dies
Sadly it doesn’t surprise me ☹️
