I live next to the damn train tracks and the bus passing by my house is still louder every time

Same, living next to a major artery and best is a mild rumbling and only if it's a really heavy, long cargo train and only if the window is open. Actually happy it gets expanded despite NIMBYs and we'll have a S-Bahn station quite literally across the street
