They're from los angeles in the movie right? if you work a private school job then maybe you make $125k/yr, so not too bad? Given inflation thats $85k in 2009 dollars (when the movie came out). I mean if you dont have too many responsibility you can spend that cash.

For the most part, private schools pay less than public, with worse benefits. The two main bunnies are discounted / free tuition if you have kids and less discipline worries
