because i don't think i put on shoes for the first maybe 5 or 6 years of my life but i also did not live in a city. but also we live in portland so the ettiequte might be different from other cities, more casual?

like babies that can't walk at all i think it's generally accepted don't need shoes and even young toddlers people are like okay, well, whatever. but is a 3 year old barefoot at a gelato shop going to revolt people? probably, right?
