DG would've easily been a main event NXT guy if he signed there but I do think AEW is the right place for him.

I don't think he can make it past the midcard in this mafia gimmick, but I do think he can get to the main event scene one day if he ever finds another decent one.

But honestly, slap that TBS title back on Statlander.

My guess with Stokely is that they want him with Private Party IMMEDIATELY after Wrestledream.

They should have had Stokely try to recruit Mercedes to replace Statlander behind her back only to get caught, which would have made more sense than just suddenly being gone. Ultimately, I probably won't care if I get a Statlander - Mone match from this but some continuity would have been good.
