I once looked up why people skip it and the answer was basically that it detracts from the main plot/story(?) which makes no sense. Also if you’re skipping skypeia I imagine you’re also skipping Jaya and Long Ring. I can’t imagine jumping right from alabasta to fucking Water 7

That's what I heard and no it doesn't it becomes massively important with setting up so much and also fuck off main plot is my lads having fun on weird islands
