Honestly, what would be most helpful is if the umpires would just toss them, but unfortunately, many of the umps are minors themselves for minor ball, and I don't blame them for not taking on a violently aggressive adult. So yes, feel free to come and clobber them, instead
People enroll their kids into sports to learn things like teamwork and sportsmanship, only to behave like absolute garbage themselves, like zero self-awareness about how screaming abuse at other people's kids or trying to fistfight the other parents is maybe uncool??
I'm agog at the behaviour of today's sports parents. They've gotten even more psychotic than the ones I grew up with, and those assholes would do things like make a coach sign a contract dictating a minimum number of innings pitched for their kid, or attack an opposing team player in the parking lot
It's honestly the only way I can approach it at this point, because I am my own worst enemy. Every day it's like, "Come on, don't lose to that asshole!" 😆
