Totally agree! I live it a small suburb "city" of 100k and we would LOVE to move to a "bigger" city with more alternatives to cars; unfortunately every city we've checked out so far brings us MORE in contact with cars and their danger/noise etc... so we're still in our small suburb city 😞

I live in one of the few transit-rich corners of Minneapolis, but that also means I live next to a freeway, because all transit-rich corners of Minneapolis are next to a freeway. If I move to even a more suburban part of the city, I’d have to drive everywhere but I’d interact with lower car density
