I always figured my down speed wasn't high enough that it couldn't be saturated by ddl speeds but maybe not

i mean it does depend on the service but most just aren't that fast. my upload speed is barely even above 100mbps and it's rarely saturated by anything other than torrents. the biggest exception is usenet, but that's a service people pay for, specifically because it saturates gigabit+ connections.
