I have T-Mobile at a great price so I’m not leaving anytime soon but this is why I only buy via manufacturer. Plus T-Mo is lying since Verizon has done just fine.

This is what I learned years ago: just fucking buy your phone outright direct from the manufacturer. Absolutely do not buy it through a carrier. (Even if they don't skull fuck you on contract terms, the device is loaded with bloatware you can't remove)
