Here's a useful little powershell snippet that gives you the count of a regex match in each searched file: gci -Recurse path | select Name, @{l="Count";e={(select-string "regex" $_).Length }} (Yes I know `grep` can just pass a `-c` flag, stop mocking us poor windows users ;_;)
