Yee! It has three anime seasons and a manga. It's actually a spin-off of A Certain Magical Index, which began as light novels and also now has a manga and anime, and season 3 finally requires a bit of knowledge from Index to know why characters are where they are, and I don't like the Index anime.
But I do love the Railgun show despite its flaws! It has some of the coolest freakin scenes I've ever seen x3
