no party is chasing nonvoters. the message a party receives isnt “i didn’t vote for you because of your foreign policy towards israel” it’s “i didn’t vote my policy preferences dont matter” thats just the reality of electoralism in the us and people are crafting a strategy as tho that’s not the case

I disagree with you here. Parties will take notice if there are consequences to their actions/inactions. It's effectively a popularity contest & if you want to be the most popular, you need to do things ppl like. I understand what you're saying here, though..
