You have mistaken me for someone who is a member of Missouri Democratic Party. After more than 40 years of service, I ended that affiliation. I no longer make excuses for the Party. Have a nice rest of your day.

I'm assuming committeepeople and their families know and the people I sent links to now know. I don't need to look for a reason to be pissed off about the Missouri Democratic Party. Have a nice rest of your day.

Oh. Oh. Oh. There it is. As is the custom in Missouri Democratic Party, shoot the messenger.

It's only about democracy if voters know there's an election and how to participate, which the vast majority in small rural counties do not because they don't read Missouri Independent and depend on a weekly newspaper for local news. I'm not carrying the MDP bag of thirty years of whines anymore.

No one- other than party committeepeople and activists- in the blown off counties knows about this election. People read their county weekly newspaper. That's The Media in those blown off counties. If MDP did not have the money up front to run a real election, it should never had gone this route.

Thanks. I would imagine very few of those are in the blown off counties. Maybe the committeepeople and family. There would be no reason other than party insider status someone would know about party registration since no local reporting on the change in their weekly newspapers or by County Clerks

How many ballots were mailed to "registered" Democrats? Can we get that by county?

Same old MDP. Blame everyone else, accept no responsibility. I do not feel sorry for anyone working for MDP in 2024. Some googling would have told people what they were getting into before they took jobs.

Local press outlets. Smdh. In small rural counties there is a weekly newspaper and you buy an ad. If you can figure out local angle- Pie made by Louise Jones and coffee will be served per County Chair Harry Smith- for a press release then that gets published as news along with the paid ad on page 6.
