sometimes they were not great I admit, it's tricky to get right the fauxmeat patties are fine but not a premium product. why should I pay more for my veggie burger? it's slop that has a way lower energy cost. I smell a subsidy

fair, I've had a few dry ones. but generally they were just the scalloped-edged costco-style black bean patties, they were the same cost as normal burgers, and they were solid it's the veggie tax, I hate that shit. the only reason we pay more is because they can get away with it
