I don’t know enough about this particular school, so this is a general comment rather than a reflection on it: a real negative side effect of the VAT policy is that there are some properly mad private schools whose parents may choose “a terrible home education” over “the local state school”.
I didn’t think the accounts were that bad on this one?
The Times did a story a couple of weeks ago about a Scottish private school closing due to impending VAT. One Google revealed a story from last year about how the school was on the verge of closing after losing tons of money over covid
