Culture and Media (Conservative): Caroline Dineage, the incumbent chair, is re-elected unopposed. Surprising only in that it's a job with a lot of freebies attached. (And also an important economic brief but, you know, let's be realistic here about the appeal of this one.)

Defence (Labour): Tan Singh Dhesi (Slough, elected 2017, would regularly go viral for attacking Boris Johnson in the House of Commons, the first turban-wearing Sikh elected since the war) vs Derek Twigg (one of the lost MPs of the old Labour right, whip and junior MoD minister under Blair and Brown)
