“If I can see you at your desk you are at work” - a view that is the worst form of micromanaging with zero thought for productivity, outputs, and wellbeing. I once had a job where I had to turn down my work to be in the office so ‘someone is seen to be there’. Madness.
Excellent. And great to see people taking more about hybrid. I don’t really get the false dichotomy of work 5 days in the office vs fully remote.
Honestly, if I hadn’t been able to work from home 50 percent of the time since the pandemic I would have resigned. No wY I could deal with the office and commute all the time
Whilst were all debating WFH/In Office ratio the real change which has stuck is the Teams meeting. Whatever your work location these dominate diaries... maybe just me, but I sense a fatigue with them and people seeming more disengaged.
